Without artifice, 'Cabanon' is a typical rosé in the purest Languedoc tradition. Slightly vinous, it unfolds with roundness and volume thanks to a dense, tonic and silky flesh, dominated by a pronounced intensity of spices and tart fruits, tinged with menthol notes. It finishes with a hint of salinity. This is a terroir rosé for everyday drinking, best enjoyed with grilled meats, tortillas with garrigue herbs, pasta with pesto, etc. May be divisive. Reasonable price, nothing more. Rating = 3.4.
