A Malepère dominated by Merlot, with a powerful nose of red fruits and spicy notes, complemented by hints of vanilla and eucalyptus that lend a refreshing touch. It is characterized by a beautiful fullness and remarkable aromatic persistence.

About the estate:

Located 5 km from Carcassonne on the banks of the Canal du Midi, this is one of the oldest wine estates in the Malepère region, with origins dating back to the 13th century and the Roger Cahuzac de Caux family, and the vineyard itself to the 16th century. Acquired in 1871 by the ancestors of the current owners—a long-established local family—it experienced its first boom around 1900. Its recent revival is linked to the renovation of the cellar in 2015 by the Boyers, who took over the estate (70 hectares, including 55 of vineyards).

A beautiful deep ruby color Aromas of blueberries and eucalyptus Rich on the palate, with blueberry jam and a fresh, lively character; balsamic and eucalyptus notes lead to a long, savory finish A truly beautiful wine
