"A luscious, sunny wine that is incredibly delicious!"

Often awarded stars, this cuvée wins the Favorite its 2022 version. Vinified in whole bunches and aged soberly in vats, this is a well-ripened Syrah (70%) with an inviting nose of blackcurrant syrup and raspberry, nuanced with cocoa and pepper. The same richness of fruit makes for a charming, succulent palate that is both ripe and fresh, supported by very round tannins. A luscious, sunny, lively wine that is already incredibly delicious and will remain so for several years to come." (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

Review and opinion by Mr. MATHIEU W. Published on 02/21/2025

Dark red core, cherry red rim. Nose: mainly ripe dark fruit, plums, blackberries, blackcurrants. Some reductive notes and also dried herbs, garrigue and spices, including white pepper. On the palate, sultry, ripe and sun-dried dark fruit. Lots of soft, fine-grained tannins. Lots of substance, fruit, a certain freshness and length with coating and mouth-filling tannins. A powerful, masculine and balanced wine that went very well with the chili con carne. Even more aging potential. Score: 16+/20

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 02/13/2025

Generous and complex, the palate is in harmony with the nose, unfolding a continuous flow of candied black fruits, sweet spices, and herbaceous notes that glide into a velvety, fine-grained texture. The tannins are mellow, smooth and structuring, bringing volume and depth and coating the finish with a hint of cocoa. Very affordable and still in its youth, it will delight with a traditional cassoulet or a hare stew with blood sauce. Rating = 4.
