In the Languedoc region, overlooking the exceptional setting of the Canal du Midi, Château de Paraza stands as the guardian of an ancestral winemaking tradition. For hundreds of years, Château de Paraza has been a wine estate that spans 80 hectares. The vineyard is situated on hillsides, facing due south on a soil that is highly conducive to vine cultivation. With its rich historical and commercial heritage,Château de Paraza captured the hearts of Annick and Pascal Danglas, who purchased it in 2005. Passionate about wine and travel, this love story then blossomed into a beautiful family story with the arrival of their three children—Matthieu, Antoine, and Lucie—at the estate. Together, drawn by the incredible challenge of cultivating the land, crafting fine wine, and renovating the property, they combine hard work and innovation to produce wines that embody both the strength and finesse of their terroir. Thus,in just a few years,Château de Paraza has evolved significantly under this family-driven initiative: sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, vineyard renewal, new fermentation tanks and a cellar… all with the goal of expressing the very best of the Languedoc terroir.
