Together, drawn by the incredible challenge of cultivating the land, making good wine, and renovating the property, they combined effort and innovation to produce wines that combine the strength and finesse of their terroir. In just a few years,Château de Paraza has evolved considerably under this family influence: sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, renewal of plots, new vats and cellars... all with the aim of expressing the best of the Languedoc terroir.
The Château de Paraza vineyard in the Minervois appellation benefits from clay-limestone soil rich in alluvium and siliceous pebbles, on which old vines of Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Marselan, Roussanne, and Gewurztraminer thrive. This diversity of grape varieties, combined with the care taken in the vineyard and in the cellar, allows us to produce expressive wines with great aromatic richness and balanced structure.
