Les Mille Vignes Estate
Today, Valérie Guérin holds the estate's destiny in her passionate hands. The Thousand VineyardsThe name comes from a storybook. In 1979, Jacques Guérin, a teacher and oenologist in Orange, acquired a thousand vines in the commune of La Palme, in the Aude department. He was joined in 2000 by his daughter Valérie Guérin, who brings meticulous attention to the vines in a vineyard covering 11 hectares and 13 distinct plots, which she cultivates like gardens in the Fitou, Rivesaltes, and Muscat de Rivesaltes appellations.

The estate's thousand vines overlook the sea in the distance and border ponds and scrubland. A multitude of choices allows us to reveal wines with character, concentration, precision, and personality: massal selection, old vines (Grenache and Carignan), grape varieties endemic to the region, soil cultivation without potash or nitrogen, green harvesting to limit yields (extremely low, 20 hl/ha), and barrel-free aging.
The wines produced atLes Mille Vignes offer a wonderful variety: two white wines, one rosé wine, five red wines, as well as two naturally sweet wines and two fortified wines. Valérie Guérin produces exceptional wines worthy of the greatest names, which now grace the wine lists of France's finest restaurants, leaving wine lovers dreaming.
