Valflaunès Castle
After 10 years exploring the world of wine—including stints in the Rhône Valley, Burgundy, and New Zealand—Fabien Reboul settled in the center of the village of Valflaunès ( 25 km north of Montpellier) in 1998. There, he built a winery and a tasting room, overlooking Mont Hortus and Pic Saint Loup.

The Château de Valflaunès vineyard is situated on millennia-old scree at the foot of the Château de Montferrand. The 13 hectares of vines are primarily planted with 40-year-old Grenache (5.4 ha) and Carignan (2.5 ha), as well as Syrah and other southern grape varieties.

Château de Valflaunès produces 8 cuvées under the Vin de France, AOC Languedoc, and AOC Pic Saint Loup appellations, with an average annual production of approximately 45,000 bottles.
