Château de Valflaunès - Pic Saint-Loup T'em T'em 2019
1*Étoile
Hachette
"Syrah and Grenache Noir feature in this high-end cuvée, whose nose bears the mark of long barrel aging (18 months). The fruit (red berries) and violet express themselves more freely on the palate, which has good volume, is well structured by firm tannins, and is refreshed by a touch of eucalyptus on the finish. Let it digest its aging quietly." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022). A red to be forgotten in the cellar for a few years so that it can fully express itself...

About the estate:
Fabien Reboul established his winery in 1998 in the heart of the village of Valflaunès, on the site of the former menagerie of Baron Jean-Jacques Louis Durand, the first mayor of Montpellier elected in the 18th century. Today, he cultivates a 14-hectare vineyard by hand and without insecticides, which is currently in the process of converting to organic farming.
