A rosé from Anjou with a bright, crystal-clear color and salmon-pink highlights, offering notes of red berries (strawberry, redcurrant) and English candy on the nose. A round, smooth wine with a liveliness that balances its mellow texture, and a fresh finish of mint and pepper... An instant pleasure!

5-star rated estate (Outstanding production)

About the estate:

Built in the 15th century in the commune of Rochefort-sur-Loire, this 23-hectare estate belongs to Alain Château's Vignobles Germain et Associés group, as does Château Bellerive. Located in the Coteaux du Layon-Chaume appellation, which has just been "named" Chaume 1er Cru, Alain Château called on Michel Doucet to develop the wines. After multiple uses, the château is now a charming bed and breakfast, offering a pleasant break in this region and the opportunity to taste the beautiful Coteaux du Layon wines. Chaume 1er Cru is a real masterpiece, with an intense and very rich liqueur, but also a fine bitter structure that makes it more complex and balanced.
