An Anjou rosé that, with its luminous, crystal-clear color and salmon-hued highlights, offers aromas of red berries (strawberry, red currant) and English candy. A round and smooth wine, with a liveliness that balances its sweetness, and a fresh finish of mint and pepper... An instant delight!

5-Star Rated Estate (Outstanding Production)
About the estate:
Built in the 15th century in the town of Rochefort-sur-Loire, this 23-hectare estate belongs to Alain Château’s Vignobles Germain et Associés group, as does Château Bellerive. Located in the Coteaux du Layon-Chaume appellation—which has just been designated “Chaume 1er Cru”—Alain Château enlisted Michel Doucet to craft the wines. After serving many different purposes over the years, the château is now a charming guesthouse, offering visitors a pleasant getaway in the region and the chance to taste fine Coteaux du Layon wines. The Chaume 1er Cru is a true masterpiece, with an intense and very rich body, as well as a subtle bitter note that lends it greater complexity and balance.
