Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

Led by the younger generation—Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined the business in 2003, 2006, and 2009, respectively—this has been a family business since 1920; it started with 5 hectares and now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in the Haut-Layon region, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also producing excellent whites and rosés. A (very) safe bet.
