"Native grape variety"
“A pale yellow Sauvignon Gris. The nose opens with notes of boxwood and broom, mingled with floral notes and smoky undertones. On the palate, a lively acidity underpins this fresh and light wine.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020) With a superb white-gold color and metallic highlights, this white wine displays a subtly floral nose of rose and hawthorn, accompanied by citrus zest and a hint of briny notes. On the palate, it offers a smooth, mineral, and intoxicating profile, with a superb aromatic finish supported by lovely freshness. A breathtaking wine and grape variety! (Screw cap)

About the wine:
A pale yellow Sauvignon Gris. The nose opens with notes of boxwood and broom, intermingled with floral notes and smoky undertones. On the palate, a lively acidity underpins this fresh, light wine.
About the estate:
At the age of twenty-three, while writing his doctoral dissertation in oenology, Frédéric Brochet established his small winery using the 49 ares of vineyards inherited from his father. This marked the beginning of Ampelidæ, which took root in the family cellar at La Mailleterie. Since 2004, with the support of the Meuli family and a group of winemakers from the Vienne region, his vineyard has expanded to 90 hectares cultivated organically, spread over approximately 30 kilometers around Jaunay-Marigny and distributed across several properties, complemented by a wine trading business.
