"Native grape variety"

"A pale yellow Sauvignon Gris. The nose opens with notes of boxwood and broom, mingled with floral notes and smoky nuances. On the palate, a tangy structure supports this fresh and light wine." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020) With a superb white gold color and metallic highlights, this white wine has a subtly floral nose of rose and hawthorn, accompanied by citrus zest and a hint of iodine. A smooth palate, mineral and intoxicating, with superb aromatic complexity supported by lovely freshness. A breathtaking wine and grape variety! (Screw cap)

About wine:

A pale yellow Sauvignon Gris. The nose opens with notes of boxwood and broom, mingled with floral notes and smoky nuances. On the palate, a tangy structure supports this fresh and light wine.

About the estate:

At the age of 23, while writing his doctoral thesis in oenology, Frédéric Brochet created his small estate from his father's 49 acres of vines. This was the beginning of Ampelidæ, born in the family cellar at La Mailleterie. Since 2004, with the support of the Meuli family and a group of winegrowers from the Vienne region, his vineyard has grown to cover 90 hectares of organic land, spread over thirty kilometers around Jaunay-Marigny and divided between several properties, complemented by a wine trading business.
