With a surface area of 100 hectares, the vineyard is now one of the largest in the Loire Valley, with 5 estates, 3 of which are exclusive: La Mailleterie, Le Manoir de Lavauguyot, anchored since 1085 on the southern flank, was the birthplace of the project, and Le Château des Roches, the driving force behind its development. When Ampelidae was founded, the estate cultivated a half-hectare parcel whose cadastral number 1328 gave its name to this great cuvée. A historic wine with a subtle harmony of ripe berries and sweet spices, it possesses extraordinary volume and perfectly integrated oak. The palate is of rare finesse, ending with a sumptuous finish of finesse and length. Meticulous ageing opens up wonderful prospects for ageing potential.
