"Historic vintage"

This lovely cuvée is the estate's first wine: PN stands for Pinot Noir and 1328 is the cadastral number of its original plot! With its dark, beautiful bright red color, this wine offers a fairly mineral nose with red and black fruit aromas. The palate reveals a very soft touch, with great suppleness, balanced oak, and subtle tannins. A masterful red!

About the estate:

At the age of 23, while writing his doctoral thesis in oenology, Frédéric Brochet created his small estate from his father's 49 acres of vines. This was the beginning of Ampelidæ, born in the family cellar at La Mailleterie. Since 2004, with the support of the Meuli family and a group of winegrowers from the Vienne region, his vineyard has grown to cover 90 hectares of organic land, spread over thirty kilometers around Jaunay-Marigny and divided between several properties, complemented by a wine trading business.

A superb wine, very pleasant with lovely notes of morello cherry and raspberry, it can be kept for another two or three years. A very easy-drinking Pinot Noir.
