Domaine Philippe Gilbert

The Philippe Gilbert estate is a 28-hectare family-owned estate located in the heart of the Menetou-Salon appellation. Farmed using biodynamic methods since 2006 and certified by Biodyvin since 2007, the estate seeks to highlight the soil in which the vines are planted—namely, clay-limestone soils over Kimmeridgian subsoils. Thus, the Philippe Gilbert Estate expresses the distinctive character of its terroir in two ways: the estate cuvée (red and white), which emphasizes freshness and balance, and Les Renardières (red and white), vinified in barrels from old vines to produce complex and powerful wines.
