Rated estate (2016 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
Owner Philippe Gilbert has been working with oenologist Jean-Philippe Louis since the estate's quality revival twelve years ago. It is thanks to him that the vineyard has been converted to biodynamic farming (Biodyvin label). The Renardières cuvées are made from the oldest Pinot Noir and Sauvignon vines. The whites have gained depth and a salty finish in recent vintages. After a period of heavy oak aging, the reds have gained finesse without losing their maturity, and are gradually becoming more precise.

Fruity but very light and short on the palate. Lacks depth and character.

Not at all like a Menetou wine, no fruit, not as good as the ones sold in supermarkets for €10. Go to Millet or Pellé instead. I would like a refund.
