Wine rated (2024 guide) 90/100
Rated estate (2025 guide) 1 (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
In Muscadet, Frédéric Lailler continues to forge ahead, using organic farming methods across the estate's ten hectares. The vineyards are of impressive quality (six hectares on the gabbros of Gorges and one hectare in the granite area of Clisson). The average age of the vines is around 65 years. Priced between €7 and €14, you'll need to hurry to build up a good stock in your cellar.

About wine:
In Muscadet, Original 2022 delights us with its fruity tenderness, its freedom of tone, and an enticing crisp texture.
About the estate:
Frédéric Lailler kept the name of the estate in tribute to its former owner, Michel Brégeon, who in 2011 passed on his vines, averaging 65 years old, located in the Clisson (granite) and Gorges (gabbro) areas. Two communal crus are showcased in these flavorful, relaxed whites, whose dynamic richness makes them invigorating, a far cry from restrained Muscadets.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 11/08/2023
Without much ambition, this entry-level Muscadet still does the job, favoring freshness and natural fruit right from the start. It continues in a linear fashion with a measured minerality in the background. A hint of bitterness brings a refreshing and much-needed liveliness to the finish. However, the whole lacks a touch of stony vigor, depth, and, in short, originality! Average value for money. This very light Muscadet was paired simply with Bouchot mussels and homemade fries. Marennes Oléron oysters au gratin with Parmesan would have been just as appropriate. Rating = 3.5.
