"A gourmet white wine that truly reflects its terroir"

A fresh and aromatic wine with notes of citrus, white flowers, dried fruit, and a distinct minerality. Structured yet elegant, it is full-bodied on the palate and offers a long, mineral finish. A delightful invitation to savor.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 93/100

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1 (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

In the Muscadet region, Frédéric Lailler continues to make strides, cultivating his ten-hectare estate using organic methods. The quality of the vineyards is truly impressive (six hectares on the gabbro soils of Gorges and one hectare in the granite-rich area of Clisson). The average age of the vineyard is around 65 years. Priced between 7 and 14 euros, you’ll want to act fast to build up a good cellar stock.

Rated estate (2026 guide) 2 (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the wine:

Muscadets offer lovely notes of yellow fruit with a hint of butter—a distinctive character that is uncommon in the region. A touch of salinity adds an extra dimension to this beautiful Gorges.

About the estate:

Frédéric Lailler kept the estate’s name as a tribute to its former owner, Michel Brégeon, who, in 2011, passed on to him his vineyards—with an average age of 65 years—spanning the Clisson (granite) and Gorges (gabbro) regions. Two village wines are showcased in these flavorful, easy-drinking whites, whose dynamic richness makes them invigorating—a far cry from the restrained Muscadets.

Review and comment by Mr. FABRICE V. Published on October 7, 2025

It finishes with a lovely attack and an acidity that, over time, will develop aromas reminiscent of a fine Burgundy. This wine can be aged for about ten years without any problems.
