About the estate:

Founded in 1973 by Lydie and Max Cognard on 1 hectare, this vineyard—located in Chevrette, a small hamlet of Bourgueil on the border with Saint-Nicolas—now spans 15 hectares. Since 2013, their children, Estelle and Rodolphe, have taken over and converted the estate to organic farming. A sure bet in Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas.
