Rated estate (2011 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

"This thirty-something winemaker has been making a name for himself since 2000 with his red Sancerres, but his ambition doesn't stop at Pinot Noir. His Sauvignons are also moving upmarket and gaining in precision, expressing themselves in a rich, mature style typical of the Bué area—particularly the Chêne Marchand sector."
