Like the reds, the rosé is 100% Pinot Noir. The 2010 vintage has a beautiful, bright color. It charms us with its nose of red berries and delights us with a balanced palate combining fruit and freshness. A pleasant rosé to serve as an aperitif or with an assortment of cold cuts.

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
Rated estate (2012 guide) 5 stars (Outstanding production)
About the estate:
"The estate produces two-thirds white wines and one-third red wines on some 45 hectares, making it one of the largest properties in the region. The Vacheron quartet also offers high-quality wines made from organically and biodynamically grown Sauvignon and Pinot Noir grapes."

Rated estate (2011 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
"The first Sancerre estate to be certified biodynamic, since 2006. Jean-Dominique Vacheron, who is more involved in viticulture, works alongside his cousin Jean-Laurent, an oenologist who trained at some of Burgundy's leading estates. While their red Sancerres are often talked about, their highly mature whites are no less impressive. They are mineral-driven, with beautiful consistency in the powerful Les Romains cuvée, produced from one of the finest and sunniest terroirs in Sancerre, expressing the flinty clay soils. Vinification in wooden vats broadens the tightness that Sauvignon Blancs on flinty soils can sometimes exhibit. The extraction and aging of the reds give them a certain rigidity in their youth, somewhat in the spirit of the wines of the Trapet estate in Burgundy. In any case, they should be aged for at least two to four years. The estate is approaching its second star.
