Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (guide 2026) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

A committed winegrower, Philippe Porché has converted his 16 hectares in the clay-limestone sector of Parnay, on the hillside where rainfall rainfall is one of the lowest in the region. With each vintages, the domaine progresses: the reds range from supple on the palate (cuvée Le Page) to deeper, aristocratic tannins (Le Prince and Le Roy). The whites alternate between the slippery (La Jouvencelle) and the chiselled like Clos de la Thibaudière and its well-situated plot on the Brézé hillside. An ideal address for indulgence.
