Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

A committed winemaker, Philippe Porché has converted his 16 hectares in the clay-limestone area of Parnay, on the hillside where rainfall is among the lowest in the region, to organic farming. Over the years, the estate has progressed: the reds range from supple on the palate (Le Page cuvée) to deeper, aristocratic tannins (Le Prince and Le Roy). The whites alternate between the slippery (La Jouvencelle) and the chiseled (Clos de la Thibaudière and its well-located plot on the Brézé hill). The whites alternate between the smooth (La Jouvencelle) and the chiseled like the Clos de la Thibaudière and its well-located parcel on the hill of Brézé. The ideal address for treating yourself.
