"All the attributes of a Douro white wine, according to Jancis Robinson!"

Fresh citrus and pears with an appealing stony/dusty freshness and no oak influence. A very subtle floral note of white flowers. On the palate, the wine is lively but complemented by a slightly creamy texture. Pure, fresh, and appetizing with a slight chalky note on the finish. All the attributes of a young, lively Douro white wine, ready now but with no rush. 2024-2026" (Jancis Robinson 2024)

Review and opinion by Mr. MATHIEU W. Published on 02/02/2025

Light straw yellow color. On the nose, citrus, grapefruit, chalk, mineral, vegetal, and floral, as well as linen. Quite complex aromas. On the palate, again citrus and grapefruit, along with lots of green notes (vegetal), supported by chalky, mineral impressions. A true terroir wine. Substance, sufficient acidity, tension, and grip. Dry finish. Pure impressions. A beautiful white Portuguese wine. Native grape varieties: 50% Viosinho, 25% Rabigato, 15% Arinto, and 10% Códega do Larinho. Score: 16.5/20
