"The Southern Sun"

Here is a sublime Bandol that will delight your taste buds with its original notes of coffee, spices, and salted butter, supported by small black fruits. When young, remember to open it a little in advance, as the dominance of Mourvèdre needs to calm down before being tasted. A warm southern wine that makes you hungry for Mediterranean dishes.

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Planted in 1980 and purchased in 2010 by Caroline and Philippe Chauvin, this 15-hectare property, eight of which are in Bandol, is located on a hillside and is organized into terraces. Facing north, running down a fairly steep slope, the vineyard is rising from the ashes. With the construction of a beautiful winery, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and the opening of a farmhouse inn offering a wide range of products from their own production, the estate takes the concept of hospitality and terroir very seriously.
