Domaine Tempier

Domaine Tempier, founded in 1834, is owned by the Peyraud family. It is one of the few vineyards and family estates from the mid-19th century to have retained all of its authenticity. Located in the heart of the Bandol appellation in Provence, Domaine Tempier's vineyard covers 38 hectares spread over several plots between the sea and steep, sun-drenched slopes.

Domaine Tempier is now run by Xavier Ravier, who continues the tradition. The vineyard is managed according to biodynamic principles by Jean-Philippe Fourney, head of cultivation, who aims to harness the energy of the soil and natural elements to promote the development of the vines.Domaine Tempier is currently in the process of obtaining certification. In the cellar, the estate has remained faithful to the tradition of aging its AOC Bandol wines in large oak casks. At the heart of the vineyard, Mourvèdre reigns supreme in the production of great red wines for aging. The Migoua and Tourtine cuvées are the estate's two rare single-vineyard wines.
