"A breeze of freshness and deliciousness!

The nose oscillates between white flowers and gourmet notes of tart candy. On the palate, this Provence rosé is fresh, salivating and very elegant. Serve chilled as an aperitif!

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

The Lapierre family has been cultivating vines in the commune of Coudoux since the late 18th century. In 1935, Jean Lapierre, then a naval officer, decided to devote himself solely to the land, which was mainly planted with olive trees. In 1952, Max Lapierre took over from his father, transforming the estate into a vineyard. In 1973, his son Yves created Château Saint-Hilaire and became the owner and winemaker. The estate extends over the stony hillsides of the Coudoux range, halfway between Mont Sainte-Victoire and the Alpilles massif. The vines flourish on 55 south-facing hectares, currently undergoing organic conversion.

An unpretentious rosé that's round, fresh and marked by notes of red berries and ripe citrus fruit. The aromatic intensity lasts right through to the particularly long finish, enhanced by a sustained minerality. Reasonably priced. Versatile, it was served with spaghetti with supions. Score = 3.7.

Strong taste. But excellent. Accompanies the meal? We prefer the Trop Rosé, lighter, but for an aperitif.
