"A gourmet vintage!"

This gourmet rosé is made from a large majority of Grenache and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a refined, floral, elegant, and complex nose with notes of orange blossom, pitaya, mango, and crushed strawberries. The palate is smooth and rich, with delicate flavors of strawberry, grapefruit, peach, a hint of spice, mango, and lime, all on a fresh base. Pair with Thai cuisine or a tagine.

Wine rated 92/100 (2022 vintage)

Rated estate Selected (An estate or winery that impressed us with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give an overall opinion on the style of the entire range)

About the estate:

Carpe Diem, the famous Latin phrase, means "Seize the day without worrying about tomorrow." This motto is taken to heart by Albéric Philippon, who took over the estate in 2013. Located on the clay-limestone terroirs of Cotignac, the estate now covers 30 hectares. Visitors to the region can find the winemaker and his wines every Tuesday at the Cotignac market.

About the estate:

In 2013, Albéric Philipon took over the estate from a family of winegrowers who were retiring. The vineyard is located in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence Verte, and covers 18 hectares. In addition to this, there are 12 hectares located in a neighboring village, which the family has been leasing since 2017. All of the vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods.
