The Coteaux Varois en Provence appellation is one of the three AOCs for Provence wines, along with Côtes de Provence and Coteaux d'Aix en Provence. It comprises 75 wineries and 10 cooperative wineries.
Located at an average altitude of 350 meters, theCoteaux Varois en Provencevineyard covers 2,500 hectares of vineyards, spread across 28 municipalities in the Var department.
Rosé wine production dominates in Coteaux Varois en Provence, accounting for approximately 90% of the appellation’s total production.
