"What a balance!"

Grenache blanc, Rolle and Clairette in equitable quantities to provide magnificent balance. A concentrated, fine, elegant nose with hints of wood, candied fruit (pear, lemon, peach, melon), yellow flowers, herbs and spices (mocha, coffee, vanilla). Complex, full-bodied, structured and mineral on the palate, with notes of fresh lemon, peach and a long, saline finish.

Wine rated (guide 2025) 94/100 (Vintage 2022)

Domaine noté Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)

About the domain :

Carpe Diem, the famous Latin phrase, means "Seize the day without worrying about tomorrow". A motto taken to heart by Albéric Philippon, who took over the estate in 2013. Situated on the clay-limestone terroirs of Cotignac, the estate now covers 30 hectares. Visitors to the region can find the winemaker and his wines every Tuesday at the Cotignac market.

About the domain :

In 2013, Albéric Philipon took over the estate from a family of winegrowers who were retiring. The vineyard is located in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence Verte, and covers 18 ha. In addition, the family has leased 12 ha in a neighboring village since 2017. All our vines are grown organically.
