“A ruby-red color of medium depth. The nose is clean, with lovely intensity and some complexity, offering ripe red fruit, kirsch, pepper, and garrigue. The palate is medium-bodied, layered, and round, with subtle extraction and supple tannins, approachable red fruit, and a long, spicy finish.” (Andreas Larsson 2021)

Rated estate (2023 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)

About the estate:

Planted in 1980 and purchased in 2010 by Caroline and Philippe Chauvin, this 15-hectare estate—eight of which are in Bandol—is situated on a hillside and laid out in terraces. Facing north and descending a fairly steep slope, the vineyard is rising from the ashes. With the construction of a beautiful winery, perfectly integrated into the landscape, and the opening of a farmhouse inn offering a wide range of products from their own production, the estate takes the concepts of hospitality and terroir very seriously.
