“What minerality!”

“Deep mineral aromas, as if one were sitting at the bottom of a riverbed, are enhanced by notes of white flowers and ripe pear. The palate is rich, with vibrant flavors of mandarin orange mingling with more subtle notes of candied peach, all intertwined with a lingering minerality. ” (Wine Enthusiast 2026)

Rated 3 stars (A high-quality product that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Founded in 1204 by the Knights Templar, Peyrassol is a magical place. Acquired in 1789 by the Rigord family, the wines have made a name for themselves and are regularly ranked among the best in Provence. Forced to sell in 2001, Philippe Austruy acquired these 1,000 hectares of forest and 100 hectares of vineyards. He renovated the buildings with passion and dedication, notably transforming the garden into an open-air museum. The wines gradually found their stride, and the arrival of Stéphane Derenoncourt as a consultant, combined with the modernization of the winery, allowed the estate to reach a new milestone.
