About the estate:

Founded in 1204 by the Knights Templar, Peyrassol is a magical place. Acquired in 1789 by the Rigord family, its wines have made a name for themselves and are consistently ranked among the best in Provence. Forced to sell in 2001, Philippe Austruy acquired these 1,000 hectares of forest and 100 hectares of vineyards. He renovated the buildings with passion and dedication, notably transforming the garden into an open-air museum. The wines gradually found their stride, and the arrival of Stéphane Derenoncourt as a consultant, combined with the modernization of the winery, allowed the estate to reach a new milestone.
