"An amazing rosé with perfect balance and great freshness."

The Château Henri Bonnaud rosé has an elegant peach color. Its aromatic profile of red berries and flowers is delicate and complex, blending peppery, exotic, and citrus notes, with hints of rose. The palate is harmoniously balanced, offering beautiful volume and freshness, with a silky, spicy finish that lingers. Pair with refined summer dishes. Pair with refined summer dishes.

Wine rated 91/100 (2022 vintage)

Rated estate (2020 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

The limestone scree terroir of this 29-hectare estate is typical of the Palette appellation. The natural amphitheater formed by the surrounding hills protects the vines from the mistral wind and creates a favorable microclimate. The talkative Stéphane Spitzglous, a native of the region, devotes himself to the vines and the cellar, and it is a real pleasure to discover this estate on the road between Sainte-Victoire and Aix. Although in the early days the production went to the cooperative, today he bottles everything on the estate, which is a source of pride for him.

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine noted (guide 2024) 3* Favorite (Millésime 2022) (Exceptional wine)

Rated estate (2021 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

In 1996, Stéphane Spitzglous took over his grandfather Henri Bonnaud's estate. After extensive construction work to build a building housing the cellar, wine storehouse, and tasting room, he released his first vintage in 2004 and renamed his estate after his grandfather. The vineyard is located in Tholonet, southeast of Aix-en-Provence, facing the Sainte-Victoire mountain, and covers 29 hectares that have been farmed organically since 2013.
