Domaine de la Janasse - IGP Principauté d'Orange Terre de Bussière 2022
The Terre de Bussière cuvée, a blend of Merlot (55%), Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet grapes from the "Bussière" vineyard, is astonishing in its power and character. Well-structured, it combines the greediness of Merlot with a more classic southern verve, with notes of black fruit and leather.

"A classic Châteauneuf, solid, well-made and technically precise. It's complete, with ample ripe tannins, a firm, dense base of concentrated black fruits leading to a long finish. The wine is introspective and young, and will need time to harmonize. But it has the freshness, balance and power needed for long ageing. A good value wine". (Decanter 2023)
Domaine de la Janasse - Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Terre d'Argile 2023
90-92/100 Jeb Dunnuck
"Côtes Du Rhône Villages Terre D'Argile 2023 is the usual blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre in almost equal parts, with the Grenache aged in truncated-conical vats and the Syrah and Mourvèdre in new and used barrels. It has a lovely perfume of black raspberry, ripe black cherry, garrigue, licorice and pepper, with a hint of oak in the background. It's pure, medium- to full-bodied, with a silky, elegant mouthfeel and remarkable length." (Jeb Dunnuck 2024)

"Châteauneuf du Pape Vieille Vignes 2021 is one of the best wines of the vintage. Mainly Grenache (15% Mourvèdre and 5% Syrah), a third of which has been destemmed, it offers a Burgundian bouquet of black cherries, redcurrants, peppery herbs, graphite and chalky minerality. Medium to full-bodied, balanced and elegant, it boasts fine tannins, beautiful purity of fruit and remarkable length. It's hard to resist today, but will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and can be enjoyed for well over a decade." (Jeb Dunnuck 2023)

"A delicious white, round and balanced with notes of green pear, anise and warm herbs. Medium-bodied, it develops succulently on the palate. It has a positive bitterness with a delicate texture and an exciting touch of herbs on the finish. Good persistence." (James Suckling 2024)

95/100 Bettane & Desseauve
-
93-95/100 Robert Parker
100% Grenache, racy and structured, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a velvety blend of black fruits and violets, enhanced by cinnamon and essences of maquis. Produced from old vines, the first of which were planted in 1912, it is a concentrate of richness that will sublimate a roast daguet or a brocket stew.

"With around 60% Roussanne, balanced by Grenache Blanc and Clairette, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Prestige offers subtle notes of honey and toast on the nose, then fills the palate with a lovely softness with hints of pineapple and tangerine. It's cleaner and more concentrated than the ripe, rounded 2018 vintage, but is it better? That depends on your personal preferences." (Wine Advocate 2019 - Joe Czerwinski) Unique emotion! Delivery in wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).
Domaine de la Janasse - Viognier 2018
4/5 (5 reviews)
90/100 Robert Parker
A well-born Viognier with character, fresh but with the muscle of the in the bottle. Ideal as an aperitif or with a scallop and mesclun salad. A great starter!
