"The nose offers a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits and dark berries, accented with spices and smoky notes. On the palate, it displays density and a lovely tannic structure that has allowed the wine to achieve harmony and fullness. It has a lovely, long finish with notes of fruit and licorice." (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2014 - Gault Millau)

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 16/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2015 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)
About the wine:
Great precision and finesse in the winemaking and aging processes; a very smooth and flavorful wine that appeals to a wide audience.
About the estate:
The Dalmeran estate, located in the heart of Les Baux-de-Provence, also owns a beautiful vineyard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and offers a remarkable range of wines with strong character that deserve to be better known. The Joyce family oversees both viticulture and winemaking, and their 2011 vintage is particularly successful.
