La Gardine Castle
Château de la Gardine is a historic estate in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, in the Rhône Valley. Château de la Gardine is a family-owned estate purchased in 1943 by Gaston Brunel, who worked tirelessly to develop it. Today, his sons— led by Patrick Brunel —ensure the vineyard’s continued success, which now spans 54 contiguous hectares!

The vineyards of Château de la Gardine, , with exposures ranging from due south to southeast, are rooted in soils characterized by the terroir’s diversity (rounded pebbles, limestone debris) and overlook the Rhône Valley. They are tended with sustainable practices and managed with uncompromising care, aiming for minimal yields. Rigorous plot-by-plot selection, hand-harvesting, and traditional winemaking methods, combined with barrel aging, imbue Château de la Gardine’s various cuvées with the exceptional soul of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir.
