Château de Nalys
For more than 4 centuries, Domaine de Nalys has been one of the oldest estates in Papal lands. Located in Courthézon in the Vaucluse region, this 52-hectare estate cultivates the 13 grape varieties of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation in the traditional way. Domaine de Nalys is surrounded by three parcels, the first of which gives it its name: Nalys, the other two being located on two of the appellation's major terroirs: Le Bois Sénéchal and La Crau.

The wines of Domaine de Nalys are of consistently high quality. The classic Nalys style was modernized in the 1950s, and has since returned to the more traditional style of Châteauneuf du Pape wines. July 2017 marks a turning point in the history of this family estate, with its acquisition by the Guigal family, now renamed Château de Nalys. The rest of the story is still being written...
