(2012 Vintage Notes)

With its pale yellow, brilliant hue, the Condrieu La Berne reveals notes of flowers and white fruits, while the old vines also lend mineral nuances and bring freshness and balance. A smooth and delicate white wine unlike any other… A wonderful cuvée worth discovering!

Wine rated (guide 2015) 16/20 (vintage 2012) (Very good wine)

Rated Estate (2021 Guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

The estate is located in Chavanay, in the hamlet of La Ribaudy, the Faury family’s ancestral home. Lionel Faury cultivates 18 hectares across the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rôtie appellations, as well as the Collines Rhodaniennes PGI. We particularly enjoyed the Saint-Joseph wines from recent vintages, which demonstrate that the northern part of the appellation has real potential.
