(2012 Vintage Notes)

Clothed in a pale yellow hue, the Condrieu La Berne reveals notes of flowers and white fruit, with the old vines adding mineral undertones and bringing freshness and balance. A smooth and delicate white wine unlike any other… A beautiful cuvée worth discovering!

Wine rated (guide 2015) 16/20 (vintage 2012) (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2021 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

The estate is located in Chavanay, in the hamlet of La Ribaudy, the ancestral home of the Faury family. Lionel Faury cultivates 18 hectares across the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rôtie appellations, as well as the Collines Rhodaniennes IGP. We particularly enjoyed the Saint-Josephs from recent vintages, which demonstrate that the northern part of the appellation has real potential.
