Domaine Georges Vernay
Domaine Georges Vernay is a family-run estate founded in 1953, with 1.5 hectares of vines in the Condrieu "Coteau de Vernon" AOC. A pioneer in the revival of the appellation, Domaine Georges Vernay has always produced wines with a unique style: finesse, elegance, and harmony. Three generations have shaped the estate's philosophy and perpetuated centuries-old rituals with the utmost respect for the vines and the people who work them.

Domaine Georges Vernay is located in the heart of the steep slopes of the northern Rhône Valley. The property has become a major symbol of the history of winegrowing in the Rhône Valley, from Georges Vernay's rescue of the Condrieu appellation to the international recognition of Côte-Rôtie. Today, winemaking is carried out by his children Luc and Christine Vernay, and the estate covers 16 hectares. Regardless of their classification, the wines are always flavorful and of the highest quality.

An iconic estate in the Rhône Valley, Domaine Vernay is renowned for its Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu wines. Christine Vernay, who has been managing the estate and winemaking for over 20 years, took over in 1996 from her father (Georges Vernay, renowned for saving the appellation and the Viognier grape variety) and her grandfather (Francis Vernay), who founded the estate. The estate, with its steep slopes, is now fully certified organic and is worked with passion and dedication.
