"Juicy aromas of ripe red berries and plums delicately rest on green olives, whetting the taster's appetite. On the palate, red and black fruits are delicately framed by Indian spices, while the olive brine continues to captivate with its remarkable flavor. The mouth-watering acidity and silky tannins round out its charm, making this wine irresistible.” (Wine Enthusiast 2023). Simply superb!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2022 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)
About the estate:
Laure Colombo, a young and brilliant oenologist, joined the family business in Cornas but wanted to establish her own estate on the outskirts, in the hills above Saint-Péray, to find her footing; starting this year, she is offering a Saint-Péray and a Cornas from her estate in Lorient. Joining doesn’t mean taking over; Jean-Luc is still here, so the range is built as a family effort, spanning the vineyards of the Côte Bleue and the Rhône, and of course the sourcing activities, sometimes under the Colombo & Fille label, sometimes under Jean-Luc Colombo. The Cornas wines remain the flagship wines here; it must be said that the modern, efficient winery is built at the foot of the hillside! In 2017, the delicious Vallon-de-l’Aigle will be in short supply—only two barrels were produced!
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated wine (2022 guide) 91–93/100 (Excellent Wine)
Rated estate (2022 guide) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Tasted as a tank sample of the final blend, the 2020 Cornas La Louvée comes from a single vineyard located in the La Côte cru. It is bursting with dark raspberries and delicate herbal notes, yet is remarkably full-bodied and concentrated, with a long, velvety finish.
