"The winner in terms of density, finesse, and above all, taste! The name of this cuvée refers to the percentage of the slope on which its young vines (less than 15 years old) grow. Fine and full-bodied, this Cornas can be enjoyed young and appeals to both restaurants and wine lovers without a cellar. A superb bargain! Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (2016 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)
Rated estate (2016 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About wine:
A straightforward, clean, very crisp, elegant, modern wine that remains true to the spirit of granite, and will become more complex with age.
About the estate:
Vincent Paris is a young winemaker who has invested in acquiring some beautiful plots, mainly in Cornas. His range is limited but gains in intensity year after year. At the top of the range are the Granit 60° cuvées, named after the slope on which they are harvested, and La Geynale, made from vines that are almost a century old. This winemaker's production is limited, but his wines can be found at good wine merchants, notably at Georges Lelektsoglou's irreplaceable Compagnie de l'Hermitage in Tain.

Wine rating (2014 guide) 89-92/100 (Outstanding wine)
Rated Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About wine:
The 2013 Cornas Granit 30 is still raw, loaded with jammy blackberry, black pepper, and a meaty character, with a rich structure and powerful but supple tannins. It has extraordinary fruit purity and should be very enjoyable upon release.

No typical characteristics of Cornas and Pique. I shouldn't have bought it. Reopen in 3 or 4 years... otherwise use in a sauce.
