Domaine Gassier
Founded by Tina and Michel Gassier, Domaine Gassier produces wines characterized by the freshness, balance, and minerality derived from their Rhône terroirs. These soils consist of rounded pebbles and silty sand, mixed with gravel and calcareous clay.
Practicing organic viticulture, Domaine Gassier is planted with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan for the reds, and Roussanne, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, and Clairette for the whites. Some of the vines are nearly a century old.
The wines of Domaine Gassier are primarily from the Côtes-du-Rhône, Cairanne, and Costières de Nîmes appellations.
