On the palate, this wine combines suppleness with a powerful yet slender body, revealing a rich aromatic profile of ripe black berries, complemented by notes of garrigue and forest floor. It displays remarkable balance, with a refreshingly crisp finish featuring hints of violet and pepper. From the excellent 2020 vintage, this approachable CDR, with its light tannins, is ready to drink now and pairs beautifully with Sète bluefin tuna steaks served with olives and capers. At this price, it’s worth stocking up by the case—especially since it still has a few good years ahead of it! Rating: 3.9.
