This lovely white wine from the Rhône region reveals a beautiful aromatic finesse in a blend of Grenache Blanc and Clairette. The nose combines notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus zest and floral notes. The palate is round and well-balanced with slightly toasted notes, brought about by expert vinification and aging in wood (30% in demi-muid barrels). A superb southern white offering excellent value for money!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this wine. I bought it mainly to prepare for blind tastings, but I found myself enjoying a cuvée that was reasonably priced. Try it with a nice summer salad.
