On the palate, it is round and well-balanced, with subtle toasty notes resulting from expertly managed winemaking and aging in oak (30% in demi-muids). To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this wine. I bought it mainly to prepare for blind tastings, but I found myself enjoying this wine, which was a pleasant surprise at a reasonable price. It's worth trying with a delicious summer salad.
