On the palate, this wine combines suppleness with a powerful yet slender structure, revealing a rich aromatic profile of ripe black berries, complemented by notes of garrigue and forest floor. It displays remarkable balance, culminating in a refreshing finish with hints of violet and pepper. From a good 2020 vintage, this approachable CDR, with its light tannins, is ready to drink now and pairs beautifully with Sète bluefin tuna steaks served with olives and capers. Stock up by the case at this price, especially since it still has a few good years ahead of it! Rating: 3.9.
