"A Côtes-du-Rhône with very promising expression"

With a beautiful deep purple-red color, the "Premières Côtes" reveal aromas of spices, undergrowth, and ripe red fruits. The attack is full and harmonious, with a balanced mid-palate between volume, the omnipresent freshness of the soils from which they originate, and well-integrated tannins.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 08/06/2025

Very well-bred, Première Côte proves seductive and harmonious, combining volume, flavor, and energy with supple, silky tannins that envelop the palate with a savory, exuberant texture, expressing notes of blackberry, plum, and spices, enhanced by a touch of white pepper and a hint of vibrant acidity. A long, delicious finish. At a very affordable price, this CDR can be enjoyed now for its freshness and spontaneity with osso bucco alla milanese or lasagna Bolognese. Rating = 4.2.
