"The opaque ruby-plum Gigondas Jugunda 2022 is 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah (partially destemmed). This is a powerful, structured wine, with lots of darker plum and blackberry-like fruit, as well as notes of graphite, pepper and crushed stone. It's clearly exceptional, but I think the cellar will be your friend for this wine. Give it 2-4 years to soften and develop more complexity, and it should keep until 2037." (Jeb Dunnuck 2023)

Wine rated (2023 guide) 16,5/20
About the wine:
Very attractive nose of violet fruit and smoked meat. The nose is also peppery and herbaceous. The palate has good freshness and a rich, dense core of fruit, with fine-grained tannins and a hint of smoked meat on the long finish. There's plenty to enjoy!
