“This red wine is a true success, with an intense color and an elegant nose of fresh fruit and violets—a testament to meticulous work in the vineyard and gentle extraction in the vat. The palate opens with notes of cherry clafoutis and reveals a full-bodied, generous texture, highlighted by smooth tannins and a finish full of sweetness. A wine that evokes the charm of lunches under the arbor. " (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022)

Review and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on August 2, 2022

The proximity of Mont Chauve is evident on the palate from the very first sip: it’s warm, full-bodied (14.5%), brimming with sunshine and well-extracted fruit (plum, blackberry, cherry) with a pinch of white pepper and a hint of leather, all wrapped in a soft, silky texture. In a well-balanced blend, what energy and depth—which carry through to a round and smooth finish—creating a very pleasant sensation of abundance that you’ll want to share every day. You’ll be coming back for more, especially at this price, paired with grilled merguez sausages made with the butcher’s lamb over the coals of the BBQ. Rating: 3.9.
