Robert Parker

" The 2016 Séguret Grande Réserve is a wine that everyone agrees on and that checks all my boxes. A fabulous bouquet of blueberries, kirsch, ground pepper, violets, and crushed rock gives way to a voluptuous, expansive Rhône wine that reveals full-bodied richness, a lush texture, a stunning depth in the mid-palate, and soft tannins. "This is a sensational Séguret that will instantly transport you to the magnificent limestone hillsides of southern France." (Jeb Dunnuck)

Wine rated 90–92+ out of 100 (An outstanding wine)

Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)

About the wine:

The 2016 Grande Réserve I tasted in August seemed lush and rich during my visit that month. The tannins are softer than usual, with the fruit developing notes of blueberries and licorice, while taking on a hint of warmth on the finish.
