“The 2016 Séguret Grande Réserve is a wine that everyone agrees on and that checks all my boxes. A fabulous bouquet of blueberries, kirsch, ground pepper, violets, and crushed rock gives way to a voluptuous and expansive Rhône wine that reveals full-bodied richness, a lush texture, a sweeping depth on the mid-palate, and soft tannins. It’s a sensational Séguret that will instantly transport you to those magnificent limestone hillsides of southern France.” (Jeb Dunnuck)

Estate rated "Recommended" (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker—The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
The 2016 Grande Réserve sample I tasted in August seemed lush and rich during my visit that month. The tannins are softer than usual, and the fruit flavors unfold into notes of blueberries and licorice, with a hint of warmth on the finish.
