" The 2016 Séguret Grande Réserve is a product that everyone agrees on and ticks all my boxes. A fabulous aroma of blueberries, kirsch, ground pepper, violets, and crushed rocks is followed by a voluptuous and expansive Rhône wine revealing a full-bodied richness, an expansive texture, a rocking depth in the mid-palate, and soft tannins. This is a sensational Séguret that will instantly transport you to the magnificent limestone hillsides of southern France." (Jeb Dunnuck)

About wine:
The sample tasted in August of the 2016 Grande Réserve looked lush and rich during my visit in August. The tannins are softer than usual, the fruit develops into blueberries and licorice, with a hint of warmth on the finish.
